Men and women are different. They always have been and always will be. Women are big consumers and probably have as much buying power as men. It makes sense that women should be part of a company’s management team to ensure that the female perspective is considered. For example, we recently had a business assessment meeting with a prospect whose product is aimed at the corporate training and development market. I pointed out to him that the vast majority of HR Managers and Directors are female. He then went to an event and reported back to me that he was the only man there! I always look at marketing through your customers’ eyes and knowing whether they are male or female is an important part of that.
